From humble beginnings as a small used car dealer in Bolton, MP Motor Company has grown to probably the biggest independent used car dealership in Lancashire. Based in purpose-built showrooms at Brock on the outskirts of Preston, we have over 350 used cars, vans and pick-ups on display and available for sale.

Horrendous service from this garage. Sold a vehicle to my elderly father as trade sale/sold as seen, a blatant attempt to bypass their obligations under the consumer protection act. The vehicle was bought less than 3 months ago and has numerous faults. Garage contacted, they have refused to help, as in their words a trade sale to a retail customer is ok, so they have no obligation to fix the vehicle .Absolute rubbish. Be very wary of MP Motor Company.

I purchased a transit custom on 8 th march and bought the van on finance . Yes the van is used but I have to say how dissapionted I am . Firstly the van door lock had been vandelised which I must ad was replaced immediately. Once the van was driven home I found the information light kept coming on and on reporting it back to the garstang branch I was told to take it to westhoughton where it would be looked at, this meant taking another day off work at cost to me I then sorted the issue out myself and then discovered the back door won’t close as the catch won’t release and also the back door rubber seal had split and come off . Yes these are not big faults but when your paying out over 10 K these items should of been checked before hand . Why should I take time off to go to westhoughton surely I should of been able to take to garstang and they take to West Houghton. These issues are not major but soured my confidence in them as it seemed nothing had been checked prior to presenting me with the vehicle
This is my fourth car purchased from MP MOTORS. I travelled to them in Preston (they used to be westhoughton) looking for my next future purchase, not sure I could afford a new car just yet due to finance still owed on my current car. I need not have worried NIGEL (I’ve always dealt with Nigel), as always showed me what was available and also what they would part ex my car for, making the decision much easier to make. I decided to splash out, as this could potentially be my last purchase before I retire, needless to say Nigel was very professional and helped me purchase my dream car (instead of my previous make do for work cars). There was a small problem with a tyre once I got the vehicle home but an email to Nigel and within 48hrs (it was weekend) all was made good by MP MOTORS at no cost to myself. I have always had FIVE STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE from NIGEL and MP MOTORS and would recommend them very highly indeed. Thank you MP MOTORS I love my almost new QASHQAI.
